Protect Your Back was created by a clinician with over 15 years of experience in helping his patients rid themselves of low back problems, permanently! With a clinical and scientific approach Protect Your Back explains and demonstrates how the lower back functions when it is healthy, exactly which exercises break it down and cause injury, how to correct some of these injuries with exercise and most importantly how to train the core (the group of very important muscles that protect the spine from injury) for a healthy and strong low back.

Dr. Rob Jones

Dr. Rob Jones graduated in 1997 from York University in Toronto, Canada with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (Canada’s only chiropractic program) in 2001. With both his undergraduate and clinical schooling Dr. Jones concentrated his studies on how the human body functions bio-mechanically from a well perspective and from an injured perspective. He’s always been fascinated with how to help individuals reach the peak of their physical well being with the combination of strength training, advanced rehab and neuromuscular education. This fascination has been carried through his 14 year clinical practice. Through the latest research and most trusted rehab, strength and conditioning, chiropractic, soft tissue and neuromuscular approaches Dr. Jones has helped thousands of patients ranging from active individuals to Olympic and professional athletes including NBA players, golfers on the Web.com and PGA tours, and countless high school and college athletes.

He runs his private practice, Peak Performance Health Center and his ergonomics consulting business, Peak Performance Consulting, in Lawrence, Kansas.

John Novosel Jr.

John Novosel Jr. has worked and consulted with golfers of all abilities – including PGA & LPGA Tour Players, Nationwide Tour Players, and also top amateurs through beginners. His teaching puts an emphasis on the golfer achieving a consistent, PGA Tour-type tempo and maximizing clubhead speed at impact. He has worked with his father to develop the concepts of Tour Tempo® and also has co-patented 4 training aids with his father. In recent years, he competed in professional long drive events and was able to generate clubhead speeds over 140 mph and ball speeds up to 200 mph, despite only being 6′0″ and 165 lbs. His longest drive in competition is 402 yards.

He has presented the concepts of Tour Tempo all over the world. In 2008 he presented to the PGA of Sweden. Later that year he presented at the World Golf Fitness Summit. In 2011, he made the trip to Amsterdam where he was part of the PGA of Holland’s coaching summit. He most recently made the trip to Orlando, FL to present at the 2013 PGA of America Teaching & Coaching Summit. He is certified with the Titleist Performance Institute as a Golf Fitness Instructor I, Golf Professional 2, and Golf Biomechanist 2. Also, he is certified with SSC Golf Swing as Level 1 Speed and Power Instructor and Level 2 Spine Engine Instructor.
