Pre-Round Warm Up

I can’t stress the importance of a good pre-round warm up routine.   The goal of the warm up routine is to prepare your mind, body & swing to go out and play golf.  Among other things you want your warm up routine to prevent injury & maximize performance.

To prevent injury, you need to get the blood flowing and loosen up body segments.  By this I mean dynamic movements.  Arm circles, stork turns, pelvic tilts, & windmills are all great dynamic moves to get you ready.

Let’s take a look at these this week.  I’ll be providing video’s so you can incorporate these into your warm up routine.

Then, once you’re warmed up, I’ll take a look at swing drills you can do with the Speedball and rangeballs.
