Chris is right on the mark and I don’t think I can say it any better. Here is what he wrote:
The proper way to correct this fault is to add resistance in the direction of the fault. Supporting his head as he swings just reinforces the fault when the support is removed.
So, what Hank should do is put his hand on top of Charles head and push down.
To make things better Hank should add more force at the time Charles usually dips.
The first few times he does this Charles’ head will fall like lead balloon.
Then, SAID will kick in and Charles will start to use his neck muscles, postural muscles, etc… and he’ll learn to keep that head where it is.
Sadly, I don’t think this will ‘fix’ his swing, but I’m just making a point here!
